This Friday we have a sweet array of exciting brand-new releases and re-releases hitting our shelves

Including…

Santana / Africa Speaks:Santana gets back to his roots, this new record produced by the legendary Rick Rubin is a Tour de force. A unique fusion of Latin, jazz and rock…It’s a right proper freak out!

Aurora/ A Different Kind of Human:  More Scandinavian sweet voiced, techno ambient pop…folktronica some might say…whatever the genre box this album is winner. If we had some fancy algorithm program…this would flash up on your screen after enjoying Sigrid and Billie Eilish.  Its pop!

Eagles of Death Metal / Boots Electric.  Guitars, Drums , Guitars, Noise, Guitars Shouting, Posturing, Guitars, Posing, Sweat, Sex Drugs and…. Rock and Roll. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!

Blackbear/ Anonymous. The RnB Hip Hop writer and producer finally released on Double Vinyl his most personal and affecting album. Rhythmic and lyrical, Beats and Hooks that move the soul and the feet

Scissor sister / T’ dah: The classic pop confection released on Heavy Weight Vinyl, a party record for sure, full of memories and good times. I’m sure you will feel like dancin’.

Agoria / Drift:French electronica;  The first album in eight years, described by Luke Pearson on Exclaim.ca as a record with a clinical and somewhat brittle production style that some might find at odds with the delicate and organic movement the title suggests, but it’s unifying at the very least, and ultimately worth getting used to.

Jamie Cullum / Taller: a new collection of smooth jazz pop soon to be classics by the twinkled fingered silver tonged wunderkid ( not yet forty and he’s been around for ever)

Genesis / Seconds Out:Re-released from 1977, recut and produced on high quality half speed mastering. This pivotal live set from  reveal a band in transition, looking backwards and forwards but still at the top of their game.

Brandt Brauer Frick / ECHO: an Ambient Nu Classical techno Jazz vibe…bleeps and blips intricate drum patterns and soundscapes that soar above the clouds and can induce a euphoric trance like state.  You can never have enough austere sonic experiments. As far as we’re concerned
